Title Project Manager II – Seattle, WA

The Project Manager is responsible for managing a variety of telecomm/IT projects from initiation and planning through execution to closing. This position requires a mix of technical and managerial skills with at least five years project management experience. The project manager will be responsible for reporting project status to the customer on a regular basis. The project manager is responsible to maintain product/project requirements balancing time, cost, and quality.

  • Creating a hi-level project plan with focus on key deliverables & realistic schedule
  • Assigning tasks to resources
  • Proven successful track record of interfacing with Customer/Client and effective conflict resolution
  • Understanding of Scope Management and ability to monitor and communicate scope changes effectively
  • Reviewing and approving  statement of works (SOWs)
  • Schedule and lead project meetings
  • Updating project tracker and/or project database
  • Coordinate work packages and site visits
  • Collect, update, follow up, and manage Purchase Orders (POs) & receive invoices for approval
  • Reviewing Close-Out Packages (COPs)
  • Communicating effectively and professionally in email, phone calls, & meetings
  • Escalating appropriately
  • Must be able to demonstrate objective judgment and professional integrity in work allocation and distribution
  • Project team building
  • Ability and willingness to learn new technology & professional practices
  • Supervise and manage subordinates
  • Responsible for vendor management including selection and conflict resolution
  • Perform all duties in accordance with the Vinculums Code of Safe Practices (IIPP).

Job Requirements
  • Minimum five (5) years Project Management experience in Telecommunications/Telco, IT, IT Related or Engineering
  • Experience and enthusiasm for developing team members and subordinates
  • Excellent MS Office Suite
  • Works well both individually and leading/motivating a team
  • Up to 25% Travel
Preferred, but not required
  • 4-Yr College Degree
  • IT/Telecomm Infrastructure Experience
  • IT/Telecomm Operations Experience
  • Commercial Construction Experience (All Phases)
  • Vendor Management
  • PMP Certification
  • Professional Certifications (Microsoft, EIT, IEEE, etc…)
  • Additional Software Skills (AutoCAD, Visio, Granite, Oracle, etc…)
  • Real Estate or Broker’s License
